I live in Austin with my fiancé and our small family of pets. I became interested in tech after finishing a B.A. in Gender Studies; after finishing my last assignments, I found myself listless without new projects and things to learn. I began looking for something new to teach myself, and I fell in love with coding as I learned! Now that I’ve learned a lot and taught myself some great new skills, I have found a field that I’m really passionate about.
I’m currently working as a freelance front end developer, for which I use my organizational skills and eye for detail to write clean, elegant code. I specialize in WordPress development with a focus on Elementor development–both using existing widgets and custom coding new widgets and plugins. Interested in seeing my work? My focus is writing clean, well formatted, semantic HTML5 to make sure that the content is easy to read, collaborate, and trouble-shoot, and is as accessible as possible.
I pride myself on writing CSS that is easy to read and build on. I focus on keeping my CSS lean and fast to load, and I make it a habit to stay up to date on current best practices.
I believe that your site should be easy for you to use. You shouldn't need a development team every time you need to make an edit, which is why I develop comprehensive Elementor widgets using PHP, JavaScript, and more.
I have a knack for noticing the small details that make a big difference in user experience. You can trust me to take a designer's PSD and quickly & accurately convert it into a webpage that is pixel-perfect match.
